Every week you share the books you received that week...ones you bought, or got at the library, and ones that you received to review on the blog. That way you could mention titles that might not otherwise get some face-time on you blog.

Books I bought:
I went to a book fair yesterday evening after catching WICKED(!) and most books where going at $9 each! They even had some new/popular ones. My bf and I went crazyyy!! We only got 10 books in total though and 2 were not my type of books. :P I would still consider 8 books a good haul though since I was more or less looking out for books that are in my TBR pile. I would probably not be purchasing any more books for the next month. (I hope)
Books 1-4: Yes we bought the entire 'The Moral Instruments' series, we are optimists. :)
Book 5: I love cultural books!
Book 6: It is a hardcover and I've always wanted to read it.
Book 7: Had to check out Audrey Niffenegger after The 'Time Traveler's Wife'.
Book 8: Gorgeous cover, also refer to point 1.
Books I received for review:
Witchy, Witchy by Penelope King
There is a giveaway on Goodreads for it!
Five by Christie L. Rich
The new cover is a lot better compared to the one I received! :)
The Emerald City by J.A. Beard
Pretty cover and there have been so many great reviews about this book on Goodreads, can't wait to read it!
Books I borrowed:
Not going to the library for the next couple of weeks. I have a lot on my plate now. :)
Total books this week: 12

DeleteYou got a lot of nice books this week. Haven has been on my TBR list for a long time now. I really need to make time to read it.

It has been on mine for quite some time too, glad I saw it ystd!
DeleteNice IMM! I couldn't get into the Mortal Instruments series, so you're pretty brave to buy the whole series! The cover of Five is so pretty. I love all the purple. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was going at a really low price for first-hand books here in Singapore. Shipping always adds up and books costs a lot here (even in stores) so we just took the risk :P
DeleteYes, its pretty!
Wow, I see lots of Cassandra Clare! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter & Happy Reading,
Patricia // My IMM
Happy Easter to you too! :)
DeleteNice picks! I picked up Her Fearful Symmetry for the exact same reason. Sadly, I didn't enjoy it like I did with The Time Traveler's Wife. Hopefully you enjoy it more!

ReplyDeleteI hope I don't regret it. Its fun to do crazy things like these once in awhile. :P
DeleteOh, wow - what a great book expo! I can't believe all those books were only $9 each...great deal! I'm (hesitantly) looking into The Mortal Instruments series as well, so it was really neat to see them on your IMM :).
