Feature & Follow Friday #1 (Feb 6th)

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every week, 2 blogs will be featured allowing everyone to discover some new blogs!

I would really appreciate it if you followed me through GFC or Bloglovin', leave a comment below and I would definitely follow back! :) You can also follow/friend me through Goodreads or Twitter! (Its a new Twitter account, any new followers would be greatly appreciated!)

Question of the week: Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how?

Yep! I usually read 2 books at the same time, an ebook and a physical book, but I try not to read books from the same genre so that I don't confuse the worlds and characters. I prefer reading ebooks when I am out and about, it is just a lot more convenient to read from a Kindle with one hand when I am travelling. I still love physical books though so I usually read them at home mostly because I don't want them to get all battered when I put them in my bag. How about you? :)

Leave links to your Feature & Follow down in the comments below and I'll surely drop by!

  2. That's a great idea! I stick with one book because I don't want to get confused, but you're right, if you read two different genres, it won't be so easy to mix the characters and worlds up. (:

New Bloglovin' follower. (It gave me an error when I tried to follow you via GFC)

    1. You should try it one day! :) I usually go for one contemporary and one sci-fi/fantasy/anything heavy on world building or basically one light and one heavy read.

My GFC has been problematic, I deleted and added it again. Do you mind trying it again and let me know if it works?

Thanks for the follow! :) I followed back!

  3. That's pretty much me right there in a nutshell, a Kindle book (which, for me is usually an eGalley for review) and a physical book off of my shelves that I've been meaning to get to and haven't been able to for whatever reason. And, if by some reason I'm reading a book that I'm really consumed with or caught up in, then it's just that one until I'm finished. lol

New follower of your lovely blog!

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! :)

  4. I mainly read on my Kindle/Ipad now although I have so many physical books on my shelves. I agree that ebooks are so much easier to carry around . . but my paperbacks/hardbacks are so pretty :-)

  5. I tend to read an audiobook and a printed book at the same time, both of different genres like you. I sometimes have a paper form and a kindle copy of the same book, however, so I don't destroy my books when I'm out and about.

  6. I'm the same way! I prefer an e-book when I'm out and about because of it's convenience but also because I've ruined many a physical book that way. But yes, I still love and prefer physical book so when I get home I always read my physical book. I'm usually reading three books.

    Happy FF! New GFC follower.

    1. Sometimes I wrap my paperbacks with thick clear plastic (idk what they are called) to protect the covers from getting dog-eared/wet when I'm out and about!

Thanks for following, I followed back! :)

  9. I carry my mp3 player at work and listen to audio books all day, but at home I have hard copies and my tablet. So I always have at least 2 books going.
