(Sorry about this crappy phone-taken photo, I didn't have time to take a proper one with my camera)
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Rebel Spring & Gathering Darkness: These are the second and third books of the Falling Kingdoms series and I had to have these immediately after I finished Falling Kingdoms! It was so refreshing and amazing after the disaster that was Snow like Ashes. My review of it will be up next week, keep a look out! :)
The Well of Ascension & The Hero of Ages: I can't wait to continue on with the series and I am so in love with the covers!!! :) If you follow me on Twitter you'll know that these arrived in very poor packaging after waiting 3 weeks for it to arrive. The printing quality also seems very different from my copy of The Final Empire which I got in January. The pages of this book are of a different colour and there are random splashes off ink throughout the book. Some words are just blobs of black ink :/ Book Depository is sending replacement copies but I don't have high hopes about the print quality.
The Luminaries & The Secret Life of Bees: I am going to try and read as many award-winning novels as possible this year. I feel like I can't really call myself a book lover if I haven't read that many classics/highly-acclaimed books. I am afraid but I hope I survive.
Survivor: I've always wanted to check out a Chuck Palahniuk book and I know that he has more popular books out there compared to Survivor. But I quite like reading a lesser-known book of a popular author sometimes so that I can get a feel of his/her writing style before I read their more popular books. I think it helps me appreciate their writing more :)

LIFE UPDATE
School was a lot less hectic this week so I was able to do up 6 posts this week on the blog! :D I am also glad to announce that I am out of my reading slump!!! Hurray! I am so glad that didn't last too long because I've only read 5 books this month so far and that is pathetic :( Hopefully I'll be able to get more done during the rest of the month.
My plan was to finish reading ALL of my 11 library books before I could borrow anymore (the due dates were so pressurising) but it failed miserably. I returned 2 books last week and proceeded to borrow 2 more. #booknerdproblems Now I am back to a square one, lol!

Nice haul! I really want to read The Fallen Kingdoms series. I have book one...somewhere. I think the only reason I haven't read it is because I can't find it! I'm glad you're out of your reading slump! Enjoy your books, happy reading!
